We’re looking for a talented product manager, ideally with a background in tech, to join our small team and propel our product development as we grow to become the world’s best musicians’ platform. As overall product owner, you’ll be responsible for keeping a cross-disciplinary team on target and delivering product updates on time and to a high standard. You’ll need to be a highly motivated team-player who’s excited about consistently evolving a world-class product which impacts the lives thousands of people. - Experience as a product manager in a software/internet company - Strong understanding of analytics and using them as part of experiments. MixPanel, Google Analytics, Optimizely etc. - Ability to pick up, understand and communicate technical issues relating to the business - Comfortable carrying out user experience tests and validating hypotheses - Ideally you’ll have a solid technical background and be able to help architect, design and build the projects you are managing. - A real and tangible love of music. Desirable: - Experience with team building techniques and meeting mechanics - Ability to identify solutions which will drive the business forward, and communicate ideas effectively across technical and non-technical sides of the business. - Strong inter-personal skills, able to both persuade and compromise - Strong sense of urgency and ownership - can set and meet project milestones - Great written skills, ability to document decisions and progress made - Proficiency on at least one instrument in order to join the Encore House Band Start date: August/September preferred Location: Central London; bright, modern office right next to Moorgate station and near Liverpool St station. Salary: £40-60k dependent on relevant experience and breadth of cross-disciplinary skills. Equity: Negotiable, typically 0.5-1.5% Hours: Flexible. Average 40-50hr week. 25 days holiday.
