Provide operational support of all products in the Reaction portfolio, which is comprised of multiple products that function under non-traditional schemes, including Joint Ventures, Joint Development Environments, recent and legacy acquisitions, and teams that have not been integrated into the Global Business Services (GBS) structure, and are part of critical growth initiatives, generating revenue in high growth, complex sectors. Responsible for GBS day-to-day technology and engineering integration/support for the company’s Data Management Platform (DMP) development efforts, and in particular, the recent acquisition, eXelate. Manage project execution to ensure quality delivery of projects to scope, on-time and within budget, including controlling program costs, resources and revenue. Perform strategic and tactical management of products. Assist in the company’s efforts to integrate Total Audience measurement with new programmatic and real-time bidding environments, using knowledge of industry engineering and technology. Partner with Product Leadership teams to develop and update project plans for a holistic product backlog (a comprehensive to-do list) that reflects business needs and strategy in each product roadmap, matching short- and long-term business goals with specific technology solutions to meet those goals. Support the company’s engineering and technology efforts for mobile device matching, identity matching, and cookie syncing that is needed to efficiently leverage and integrate the company’s assets. Develop and manage work breakdown structure of technology and operational implementations of Nielsen’s new products and enhancements. Directly supervise one project manager. Opportunity to telecommute from home office in the New York City area up to 5 days per week, as feasible. Involves travel to the Oldsmar, FL office approximately 10 times per year, approximately 7 days per trip, and other occasional day/overnight trips within the United States. Tools used: Agile and Waterfall methodologies Job Engineering & Information Technology Primary Location North America-US-NY-New York Organization CTO Schedule Full-time Shift Day Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (any), Computer Science, Mathematics, or related (foreign equivalent degree accepted), plus three years of experience in the job offered or three years of experience in digital media product development. Will accept 1 year of experience in the job offered or in a related position in digital media product development in lieu of each academic year of baccalaureate study that is lacking. Must have experience in: Data Management Platforms; Programmatic Buying and Real-Time Bidding (RTB); Online and mobile identifiers and cookie syncing techniques; Technical and operational aspects of product development; Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies; and Project management. Must have demonstrated knowledge of the AdTech competitive environment, demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional and multi-cultural teams, and effective analytical, management, problem-solving, oral and written communication, and presentation skills. Demonstrated willingness to travel to the Oldsmar, FL office approximately 10 times per year, approximately 7 days per trip, and on occasional day/overnight trips within the United States.
